Softmart Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Re-Certification for Company's Quality Management System
[Downingtown, PA, [United States] — August 10, 2011] - Organization receives certification for fourth consecutive year with no non-conformances.
Softmart, Inc., a leading global reseller of Information Technology products and services, was recently recertified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for 9001:2008, which demonstrates an organization's commitment to quality-based standards. Customers purchasing software volume license programs and configured hardware rely on Softmart for high performing service and delivery. The voluntary certification assures customers of Softmart’s high regard for documented processes and procedures that assure ongoing improvements in their global customer support.

Since the company’s initial ISO 9001 certification by registrar SAI Global in 2008, Softmart has undergone annual audits, all of which they passed with no non-conformances. By conducting customer surveys, identifying areas of improvement in existing processes, and developing corrective actions for areas of concern, Softmart has built processes to improve work flow, service levels, communications, and performance.
Softmart continues to enhance its Quality Management System and in 2011, is adding 4 new processes to the Quality Management System.

Microsoft’s Southwest Licensing Team honors Softmart with Outstanding LAR Award

Softmart Microsoft US West Region H2 FY10 Southwest Area Teamwork Award Winner

Partners in the Dallas area were asked to provide a demo showcasing their expertise of Windows Vista.
