Dialogic Diva entirely abstracts ISUP (ISDN User Part) call control from the application. Therefore, ISVs and OEMs developing applications can use any Dialogic Diva application programming interface (API) such as industry standard CAPI or the interfaces offered by the Dialogic Diva software development kit (SDK) for the implementation of SS7 applications. As a consequence all existing or new applications written to any of the Dialogic Diva APIs will seamlessly work in both ISDN and ISUP environments. In addition, all existing COM port (Windows), or TTY (Linux) applications running on Dialogic Diva media boards will work without code modification in SS7 carrier networks.
