A built-in, centralized rights locker stores and manages user profile data, configured devices, and the list of consumer rights to protected content.Cisco Videoscape Media Suite supports Microsoft Windows Media Digital Rights Management (DRM), PlayReady, and PlayReady Domain DRM technologies, while providing a pluggable framework to support additional models. The platform offers a framework for entitlement that simplifies integration with existing entitlement and policy systems.Cisco Videoscape Media Suite Publisher allows video service providers to ingest asset metadata from the Cisco Videoscape Media Suite CMS or any other video management system. These can form the foundation of a web-based video storefront or an aggregated streaming video portal, or can be delivered directly to standardized or custom-built media players. Service operators gain the ability to augment their own content offerings with those from other providers, such as Hulu, CBS, or MTV, and present them in a unified interface.The Cisco Videoscape Media Suite platform provides management, display, and playback features for digital media content. The platform includes Media Streaming Players (MSP) and Media Download Application (MDA), which are embeddable and skinnable browser-based players in both Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight versions. Each version supports playback controls, a playlist carousel, and standard, full, and widescreen resolutions.
